Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share and protect your personal information — and the rights you have over it. We operate across the United States, Australia and South Africa and aim to meet the data-protection standards of each.

MineCap Global Inc · Effective 16 July 2026 · Last updated 16 July 2026

1.Who we are

MineCap Global Inc (“MineCap Global”, “we”, “us”) is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States, with operating offices in Perth, Australia and Johannesburg, South Africa. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit mine-cap.com, request a quote, buy from us, or use one of our portals.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Identity & contact details — name, company, job title, email, phone, billing/shipping address.
  • Account credentials — for distributor, client and artisan portals.
  • Order & enquiry details — products of interest, quantities, specifications, correspondence.
  • Payment & billing information — processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties

  • Business contact data from trade sources, and details from carriers, credit-reference and fraud-prevention partners where relevant.

3.How and why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
  • Process orders, take payment, arrange delivery and provide support.
  • Operate and secure your account and our portals.
  • Manage our relationship with you, including notices about your orders.
  • Send you marketing about relevant products and services where you have opted in or where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time).
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, and prevent fraud.
  • Improve our website, products and services.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), we rely on: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and growing our business (balanced against your rights); your consent (for optional cookies and marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.

4.Sharing your information

We share personal information only as needed, with:

  • Service providers — hosting (including Supabase and Vercel), payment processors, email delivery, carriers and logistics partners.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and lawyers.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A buyer or successor — in connection with a business sale or reorganisation.

We do not sell your personal information.

5.International transfers

Because we operate across the United States, Australia and South Africa and use global service providers, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to jurisdictions recognised as providing adequate protection — as required by applicable law.

6.How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to satisfy legal, tax and accounting requirements (typically several years for transaction records). When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7.How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our databases, and least-privilege access — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and maintain procedures to deal with any suspected breach, notifying you and regulators where the law requires.

8.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — to have your information erased in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction & objection — to limit or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Portability — to receive certain data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, at any time.

EU / UK (GDPR): you may exercise the rights above and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. South Africa (POPIA): you have rights of access, correction and objection, and may complain to the Information Regulator. Australia (Privacy Act / APPs): you may request access and correction and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. California (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of “sale”/“sharing”; we do not sell your information.

To exercise any right, contact legal@mine-cap.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

9.Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control them.

10.Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11.Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
